4(2x +1) = 27 + 3(2x+5)
Multiply through brackets:
8x + 4 = 27 + 6x + 15
Move variables and numbers to opposite sides:
8x - 6x = 27 + 15 - 4
Add them up:
2x = 38
Divide both sides by 2:
2x/2 = 38/2
x= 19

Thus, your answer is: x = 19

Distribute , 4 times 2x = 8x + 4 so 8x + 4=27+3(2x+5)
Distribute again
so you should have 8x+4=27+6x+15
then add like terms
27+15=42
so now you have 8x+4=6x+42
-4 -4 minus 4 from 42
now 8x=6x+38
-6x-6x minus 6x from 8x to get 2x
now 2x=38 -divide 38 by two, to get x=19

final answer is x=19 your welcome if you want to check
answer put 19 in for x and your answer
should be the same

4(2x +1) = 27+3(2x+5)
simplify your equation by multiplying where you can
8x + 4 = 27 + 6x + 15
combine like terms
8x - 6x = 27 + 15 - 4
2x = 38
x = 19

double-check by substituting 19 for x
4(2x+1) = 27 + 3(2x+5)
4(39) = 27 + 3(43)
156 = 27 + 129
156 = 156

Use the distributive law:

8x + 4 = 27 + 6x + 15

Move all terms with x to one side, all other terms to the other side:

8x - 6x = 27 + 15 - 4

Combine terms:

2x = 38

Divide by coefficient of x:

x = 38/2 = 19.

lol all wrong x=19 just done it now

take out brackets
8x+4=27+6x+15

simplify
2x=38

divide by 2
therfore
x=19

X = 19

8X + 4 = 27 + 6X +15
8X+ 4 = 42+ 6X
2X = 38
X = 19
