You might call the local vet out of the phone book, or go to a feed store and ask around to see if they know anybody. I don't live in the area so don't know of anyone, but if you ask vets, feed stores, maybe see if there are saddle clubs in the area ask there... Good Luck

Is there a riding club in the area? An organization that puts on local shows? If so, check with them first - they've got the most connections in your new area and will probably even have some barn/farm owners on the board of members....

Before the days of the internet - I used to go to the local feed store and/or tack store. They're another good source of info, plus will probably have a bullitin board where local barns/clubs advertise.

Last but not least, you can search on Yahoo! or Google - type in 'horse boarding in ' and see what comes up. If you ride a specific discipline - like dressage or jumping - or have a purebred horse - AQHA, Hannovarian, etc. - try searching that in your area as well.
