My roommate had one of hers get loose in her house... It survived for 5 months on whatever bugs it could find and managed to avoid the cats/dogs, then just came back out one day... Don't give up! Look EVERYWHERE... they love to get into tight spaces. If it's cold where you are look in the warmer areas. Make sure it can't get down heating vents etc... (look under the fridge, fairly common place for reptiles to hide...) Good Luck!

i had a leopard gecko get loose on me once. she was missing for a week. i would go in the room at night, when they are most active, and finally i heard a scratching noise- she was underneath a cabinet. after finding her it took an hour to catch her... she was pretty spooked. my friend also had a leopard gecko get out on her- but it was a small juvenile. she blocked off all doorways with shelves so it would not enter the hallway. after a full day of searching she went to step out of her room and found it lying next to the shelf in the hallway(apparentaly it had wandered out there before the barricade). we both left out heat and food to no avail. it came down to luck really, but i would think to look in places that seem safe to a scared gecko (like the one inch space underneath my heavy cabinet!)

seem around the place a radiator or some type of warmth source could be around your place. seem throughout interior the room the place you lost him and additionally interior the rooms around the corner. Your leopard gecko cant be too some distance away! in case you stumble on him and he's trapped someplace, entice him out with a mealworm or cricket. in all likelihood could be greater trouble-free with a mealworm through fact the cricket will hop away.

Well, I've never had one, but maybe try looking in some moister places (or dryer if leopard geckos are from dry conditions) and if you can't find it, I'd recommend you getting a new one, sorry =(
