I had a pair of jeans, of which had a sizable rip. I grabbed a roll of duct tape and had a little fun. At the end of my playing, I had a pair of jeans, completely covered in the versatile tape. However, now I am met with a bit of a problem. I wish to continue using the jeans, however I have yet to discover a way of washing them. As beforementioned, they are covered in duct tape. Is there any method of washing duct tape without any form of catastrophy happening?

Thank you for your valued input.
~Zack

any washing is going to break down the adhesive and lead to tape loss. You should remove the tape, wash the jeans and go to your local Hobby Lobby and buy fabric glue that is permanent and flexible. The staff can help you locate it. Then apply it thinly (using a paint brush-the cheaper ones are fine so you can toss it out) on the tape and apply it to the freshly laundered jeans. Then you will be able to wash them in the future without any worries.

:) I love it! Everyone needs a pair of duct tape pants. How many rolls did that take? Anywho! I'm afraid you're in for trouble, possibly find another pair to make into a new duct tape pair :)

duct tape is very strong and will take a wash in the machine but not to many times.

You may get away with hand washing very carefully and hang to dry. Otherwise frebreez the inside of the jeans and use a Clorox wet wipe for the outside.

How creative !

Wipe the outside down with a damp cloth and spray _Odo Ban _ inside .Let dry well.

Odo Ban is available in Wal-Mart next to the Fabraze. It is an amazing product.

Just wipe them off with a damp rag. Do not get the adhiesive wet or they will fall apart.

Nope. As soon as that tape gets wet its going to lose its adhesive. I suggest buying new pants.

You won't be able to wash them. Maybe...Dry clean them. Or...Get a barely damp soapy rag and turn them inside out and just wipe them down to remove sweat or any kind of funk. FEBREEZE!!!!!!!!!
