He has done a lot to alienate, no pun intended, his audience, don't you think? Will he ever get an oscar now?

I think that the whole scientology thing and the "depression isn't real, it's all in your head" thing really brought everyone's opinion on him down.

As a person, I don't believe Tom will ever lose his sex appeal. What is printed in news papers/magazines, over the radio or TV has nothing to do with him as a person. It's too bad people feel he has lost his sex appeal just because he stood up on a couch, fathered a child, rode a motorcyle or drove a race car. But, it appears publicity determines if a person is in or out. Just look at the movies stars, from the 50's, 60's or even the 70's - many were 'black balled' just because someone thought they were talking to the 'wrong' person or were judged because they knew someone who belonged to certain organizations. It appears, being a movie star is a very difficult job.

If he does a film worthy of an Oscar he may but yeah I think whatever sex appeal he had is gone down the drain. Have a pretty high Q score (likability score for celebrities) but it has plummeted recently because of his antics. Tom, ya gots some work ahead of ya is all I can say.

Yes, Tom allowed his personal life and mouth to alienate much of
his audience....Seems that there are a lot of foolish / dumb celebrities that do this...

I never found him sexy to begin with so the whole weirdness only added to my dislike....he's strange and I don't believe that he will ever win an oscar.

Personally, I think so.
His acting ability has not changed though and people tend to forget things easily. He may still have a future in entertainment.

he might you never know. but as for his sex appeal. there was only a couple times in my life i've watched to cruise and found him attractive or even sexy.....top gun and cocktail.
