is there a way that i can see any IM's sent or received at a later date. (child use)?

My daughter want to IM, but I want to be able to see what she is talking about and to at a later date.

How can I set this up ?

There is a way to do it, but you need to think long and hard about this. Do you REALLY want to risk losing your daughter's faith? If you do this, it will prove that you do not trust her. And when she finds out (and she will find out) that you do this, she will know you have no faith in her. This will cause her to not only lose faith and trust in YOU, but it may also spur her on to do untrustworthy things in the future. The mindset is, "Well, if she doesn't trust me anyway, doing THIS won't change anything."

My mom NEVER did anything like this, and consequently, I didn't drink or do drugs in high school. She generally knew where I was and who I was with. I never really had a reason to lie to her. My friends who HAD moms who did things like this lied, drank, did drugs, etc. Just think about it.
