Not at all. There is an ever increasing number of celerities who are little more than talentless morons.

No, i am not in awe of celebrities.
But they're not ordinary people either... ordinary people don't get their picture snapped whenever they go the grocery store...
And no, i don't think most of them are worth all the money, attention,and consideration they get.
There are far more important people in this world that should be recognized for their intellect and ability to make a difference despite the odds.

I am not in awe of all celebrities, some I admire the work and hard graft that they have endured to get to where they are but I do not think people like Paris Hilton should be a 'celebrity' because she doesn't do anything productive. She just lives off of her fathers money and has a bad attitude. I think many people known as celebrities are very over rated and earn way too much money especially when they are selfish and arrogent in their ways.
Many are just fake and vein people who are causing many young people to do dumb things. They have status and influence but they get caught up in their own lack of self esteem and when they are striving to be perfect, they end up looking like freaks and behaving like irrisponsible children who are causing young people to want to copy them and to be them.
I am mainly talking about Victoria Beckham and her obsession with her weight and longing to be an ultra size 0 which is very dangerous.
But, who am I to say anything? I am just another 19year old girl who is happy with her body and how she is.

I think some of the celebrities are down to earth and have a generally nice personality while some I have doubts about. Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, etc absolutely do nothing but trashy things and they still recieve more attention from the media than other well-known celebrities. It irritates the hell out of me

I'm not in awe at all. A couple I've met and been excited about, but in general I remember that I'm the customer and without me buying the CDs or movie theatre tickets they would have nothing. I'm the VIP not them. :)

I think they are overpaid and overexposed. I think they are normal people with way to much money and time.
