There are lots of underpaid and underappreciated people who are on the line to give service. That does not mean they are entitled to be crabby or crappy, but customers who smile and act reasonable will encourage good service and then hopefully they will see more if it. A smile and an accomodating attitude will always encourage better service than an impatient, and grumbly demeanor. You will be amazed at how a $8.00 per hour clerk will respond to a nice greeting and smile.
