Yeah, women have been getting rampant infections ever since they started...bathing? Are you crazy? Of course it doesn't cause infections. Unless you have some sh!t in the water that isn't supposed to be there. In that case, take a shower.

Be a little logical. I mean, have you ever heard of vaginal plugs to keep your vagina dry while you're taking a bath? Keep it clean down there, just not squeaky clean. You don't want it to *squeak*, now, do you? That would be distracting. You're walking along, squeak, squeak, squeak.

Is that your shoes?

Um, no, the squeak is coming from someplace a little higher...

Weird.

Probably not. Actually, each time you take a bath sitting in a tub, you get some water in the vagina. The only way it would probably cause any problems is if the water is contaminated with something. Also, during pregnancy, my doctor recommended only showers close to the end in case the mucous plug came out or water broke cause that opens the cervix and uterus up for infections along with the baby.

If it got into your urethra you could get a urinary tract infection (UTI), but not many infections result from water in the vagina.
