waych how much time is left. if there's 6 days, that's why no one has bid. you can opt to 'watch this item' and then i would recommend to start bidding with in the last hour

If you offer $10 and no one outbids you, you will win.

If the offer is very good, it is likely that the auction still has a lot of time before it ends and the bidding action usually heats up with < 10 hours left. Also, pay attention to the shipping costs; some people list items cheaply and then try to make money on shipping.

Generally speaking, Ebay is cheaper because the products there sell for true market value.

Yes. But pay close attention to the sellers shipping cost. Some sellers jack up the shipping cost to pay for the item as EBay does not take a percentage of it. I have seen items listed for like 2 bucks and have a shipping charge of like 20 bucks. If you are loking for new items I suggest you look at the Ebay + shipping price and compare it to local stores. I buy a lot on EBay and get some great deals but I shop carefully. I also check the sellers ratings!!! Have fun!

You can get some great deals on eBay. Just make sure that you check the shipping charges before bidding.
