The gall bladder gets small particles that look like rice and block it up and this causes the pain. Some symptoms are determined by the severity of the disease. Some people throw up a lot, just like morning sickness and smelling food triggers it. Some bend over in severe pain, like appendicitis. Pregnancy brings this own as well. Primarily women get these attacks and most are over the age of 60.

I had my gall bladder removed last april after months of discomfort. I felt like I had been kicked in the ribs all the time. When I took a deep breath I also had sharp pains. After eating...OUCH!!!!!! You can have an ultra sound done to find out if your gall bladder is not working correctly.
