I am pregnant with my second child, and only 8 weeks along. I've heard the belly gets bigger faster after the first but this is crazy! I really don't think I'm further along than 8 weeks because I was taking prego tests like crazy for months before. Do you have any thoughts?

Wow we are in the same boat. I am just about 10 weeks pregnant with my second child. My first is 15 months. I started to show at 8 weeks too. I just feel huge but I haven't gained much weight. I was wondering whether or not I was having multiples. But I had an early ultrasound to confirm just one baby. I think some people just start to show fairly early especially in smaller women. How long has it been since your first child? I have also heard that the smaller the gap the sooner you start to show. But, I wouldn't worry too much. I find it exciting that I am showing already. I just loved being pregnant the first time now I get to show off my belly quicker. Best of luck and congrats!!!

It could either be multiples or a really big baby.
With #3, I went from a size three to a size 12 by the time I hit eight weeks. After the ultrasound, the doctor confirmed that there was only one baby. My son was 15 days early and weighed eight pounds 7 1/2 ounces . . . it was estimated that he would have been in the 12 pound range if he would have waited.

I was much bigger then I should of been for how far along I was my whole pregnancy. My problem was that I had two sacks of water and I retained fluid like the Hoover Dam. But my baby and I was fine she 8 lbs 14 ozs and 21 inches. Sometimes you just get big and if the doc doesnt find anything wrong dont worry to much about. Just try to make yourself comfortable

Your belly does get bigger faster. I know that I showed at two months this time whereas I didn't show with my first until about 5 months.
People could definitely tell I was pregnant this time.
In my first pregnancy, I got a speeding ticket a week before I delivered and the cop couldn't believe I was that far into the pregnancy. But, when I broke into tears and told him I had to pee, he believed me.

i'm the comparable way. 13 weeks yet have had a abdomen for some weeks now. i think of the smaller you are the greater noticeable it has a tendency to be on condition that i'm additionally petite and wholesome. Yes. My stomach would at times look big and at others look normal. Strange, I know. During my pregnancy everyone would ask if I was having twins. I was huge! The doctors sent me for a weight scan in my eighth month. Long story short, my healthy baby boy was born on his due date at 8lbs5ozs. You will be fine. Everyone thought he would be bigger. It all depends on your body and how you carry. I was all belly. Congratulations and Good Luck!!

it happened to me also, many say that the more pregnancies u have the bigger the bellies get- then again it could be water retention- it's really not uncommon though so don't worry. good luck and congrats!
