No. You have to cram your handbag into the small piece of hand luggage. I think there's going to be a huge demand for dinky little handbags in future!

It depends where you are travelling to. I am a frequent flyer from London to Scotland and you are only allowed one piece of luggage and for women that includes a handbag.

This used to depend on your airline but now I think it mostly depends on where you are travelling via/from/to.

At the moment, the requirement for travelling to/from/via the UK is that all passengers are allowed to take ONE piece of handluggage. If you are taking a handbag this must fit inside the one piece of handluggage. This is subject to change though.

For other destinations or connection points, check with your airline as some will allow it and others won't.

To be honest, your first calling point for such information should be your airline as they will always have the most up-to-date answer. Most major airlines detail the handbaggage allowances on their website.

It is very much dependant on the airline, most airlines, such as British Airways etc will allow you to take a bag plus you hand bag but you may find someone like Ryanair will only allow you to take one bag, it is best to check with the airline directly but the rules which i have explained above are generally the norm

In the USA you are allowed 1 personnal item like a purse or briefcase and on carry on bag. The carry on must fit in the over head storage and the personnal one must fit under the seat in front of you. As for what items you can have in your bags follow the link below. I know all this because I have worked at an airport for over 15 years and traveled for 11.

The last airport security update advised you were only allowed only one item of handbage into the cabin. I would check with your airline to make sure before you go!

depends where you are flying to/from and which airline. Best to check the airlines website before you travel. No airlines are currently allowing any cabin bags which hold liquids, including toiletries, bottled water etc. but there are rules for parents with children to take baby milk, so check out the individual airlines rules. Have a good trip

maximum airways enable one carry-on merchandise which inserts interior the overhead bin and one million very own merchandise alongside with a handbag or backpack which inserts below the seat in front of you. those are the policies for many airways despite the fact that that's as much as you in looking out if the airline you're flying follows those policies.

Yes, you can have a purse as well as 2 small carry-on bags. (This is for US flights). Just remember not to carry nail clippers, nail file, or a lighter... anything of that sort will be confiscated and cause you to be delayed.
Hope this helps :}

Depends on the airport. Call your local airport and the airport you will be landing at to find out the rules and regulations. They should have a handout or a website that will tell you everything you need to know.
