I JUST GET A DVD BURNER BUT IS NOT AN INTERNAL BURNER,IS AN EXTERNAL BURNER,HOW CAN I COPY THE MOVIES, I HAVE TO SAVE IT IN MY COUMPUTER FIRST?, WHAT CAIND OF SOFTWARE I NEED TO COPY PROTECTED DVD'S.

The burner will appear in your my computer icon just like any internal drive. You should have received burner software with the purchase of your burner. If not, you can certainly purchase software and download. Not sure how to answer about the coprighted dvd's. With all the piracy laws today, you may want to reconsider doing that.

once you shrink the files to your Harddrive and then burn them to DVD using Nero 7
