Most people would agree that Russ is a sick pig and then some. I can't understand why anyone would listen to him on any subject. He's a real sicko.

I think Rush was right on the money . It's a shame Michael A. Fox was stricken with Parkinson's . It is also a shame that he let himself be used as a political tool for the democrat party . As for his "acting" , I never cared for it and always thought that for an under-rated actor , he was highly over-rated . That said , his "acting" in the liberal advertisement for stem cell research, for whatever reason (knowingly or un) , was a deceitful act perpetrated on a largely unsuspecting public-geared to get sympathy for causes of democrats trying to secure votes . It was calculated to raise eyebrows in other circles because democrats knew that this research has nothing whatsoever to do with Parkinson's ; and what they allude to couldn't be further from the truth . To use another afflicted actor to gain sympathy in their "we're here to help you folks" campaign-by pretending to "expose" those mean republicans for calling it as it is - a cheap ploy- is yet another ludicrous attempt at trickery on the part of the left . If we'd have listened to John Edwards when he claimed Chris Reeve would walk if only John Kerry was elected in '04 - how come he wasn't elected ? Is it because most people know a snow job when they hear it ?
Anybody trying to make fun of Rush Limbaugh over a legitimate factual comment is just covering up for the fact that they are ignorant of the issue at hand -but are still going to give their conterfit two-cents worth . Nice try . Rush isn't the only one who sees the Fox Dog & Pony Show for what it really is . If Michael A. Fox did this stunt , knowing all the while that what he said was a trick - and couldn't possibly cure Parkinson's , then he should apologize . Disease or no disease -it does not give one carte-blance to perpetrate fraud ! It created panic & false hope -and more bad feelings ..for what ? For nothing but dirty politics from the radical left ..as usual ..

I feel sorry for anyone who has Parkinson's disease. My Dad had it and it is the nastiest stuff but, I don't agree with Michael J. Fox's push for Embryonic Stem Cell Research either. He knows this is a hot topic so he should have been ready to take a little heat. Rush Limbaugh is kind of a jerk too though. I say if ya don't like poop don't be a Septic Tank diver.

Michael J. Fox is ill. He has Parkinsons. That's a fact. He does not need to exaggerate for the sympathy vote. Rush Limbaugh should know this. Uncalled for.

Rush went out on the limb to make an observation that was sure to draw fire. Michael Fox is very popular and likable, but that does not make it OK for him to enhance his Parkinson's for a commercial that is a distortion of the facts. They want to keep attacking Republicans for not supporting stem cell research. The commercial says those very words a number of times. The real truth is that some Republicans don't support EMBRYONIC STEM CELL RESEARCH which is a very different thing. I don't happen to agree with those Republicans, but that does not make it OK for Michael J Fox to tell a lie or to skip is medicine so that his Parkinson's gets exaggerated in a commercial.

The Democrats have worked hard on this fairly new strategy of using "untouchables" to run for office or push their agenda. That explains why they use blacks to push race issues, the elderly to push their issues, Cindy Sheehan to bash Bush on the war, returning soldiers to run for office and bash Bush. It is why they are working so hard to build up Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. They are seeking ways to get votes from people who they have traditionally crapped on. Democrats getting vapid over country music stars??? When did that happen?

Limbaugh never said he was "faking it" like so many of the news reports say... he said he was "either off his medication or acting" because his illness was never so pronounced when he appeared before.

Also, the add is greatly exaggerating the stem cell issue... Republicans are not against advances in stem cell research as the add claims, but against the relatively unproductive method of obtaining stem cells from human embryos, as apposed to obtaining them from adult bone-marrow, or umbilical cords.

I agree with another answerer. When a sick person allows his illness to be used for political purposes, he should expect to face political criticism.

This comes under the category of "If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen."

The whole idea that we must use embryos for stem cell research is a preposterous political hoax. Researchers have admitted, first, they already have all the stem cells they really need. Also, they can be obtained from living babies at birth from their navel cords.

What the entire embryo fuss is about is CONTROL. The control freaks want to be in total charge, and do not want any limits on their behavior, and they want the tax payers to be forced to pay for their activities. (Note the laws don't prohibit embryonic stem cell research, they only restrict use of tax money to pay for it. You guys can donate all the money you wish.)

You are exactly right! Rush is the pig of pigs! He has no compassion to the point I think he is sociopathic. My neighbor has parkinson's and she struggles just to cross the street for a short visit. What goes around comes around and I cannot wait until Rush sees the harm he is doing.

it was horrible.my uncle died of parkinsons.it destroyed his body first, then his brain.he was a handsome, kind person.he died disoriented, and so stooped and shaking he was unrecognisable.and he was only in his mid 50's when he died.a friend of mine from school, mother of two, developed this cruel disease in her early 30's.now in her late 30's,she's doing very badly.its a horrible diease,in young or old and to say he was faking it,or not that ill,is unconscionable.
