My friend rescued 4 orpahned baby mice. It's mother was a victim of extermination. What should we feed them? Stick to puppy formula or should I give them something else?

If you intend to pet them then for the baby mice you can feed

'Lactol' which is powdered puppy milk formula;

diluted milk (milk and water mixture - 'Pediasure' for children or Pedialyte- also for children etc.) with a syringe using rubber valve from a bicycle puncture kit on the end of the syringe;

after few days you may feed them any thing, like bread, cheese, biscuits etc.

I had baby mice and mother escaped from cage. We tried to find her and couldn't. We tried a mix of milk and maple syrup fed with eye dropper. It worked for awhile but they were to small and weak.

Call the vet. Caring for baby mice can be tricky. Ask what they advice.
