You obviously have the answer by now, but I have to say, I find it hilarious how creative people are when it comes to describing the "a" in lmao. It just makes my day.
At first I thought it was lame-o spelled wrong, but as you see what it really means, it doesn't mean that at all!

You know, I didn't really want to ask. I thought at first it was lame-o typed wrong. Then I saw it a lot, so I figured it was computer slang, like TTYL, or TAYL, which basically mean the same thing. So, thank you so very much for asking!
