Old saying it takes money to make money.Do you think a mister know body could even afford to run.Why do they all become millionaires after getting into a office.We need no more voting yourself a raise.Life in prison or death for lobbing,bribery and kick backs.No Special Social Security for them.Everyone held accountable,not just the peons here.

They already do, that's why it costs $10million. Without that kind of backing you get no press coverage, no airtime, and your opinions get swept under the carpet, that's why you only have Rep & Dem congressmen/senators; noone else gets a look in.

I don't believe politicians can buy an election, more like THEY can be bought !

To the degree that they can spend a lot of money on advertising, which influences the dumber voters.

The more money they have the more media they can use to their advantage....thus usually the one with more money wins.
