I feel that I am rich beyond possesions of riches and money; and, blessed beyond any one temporal church's power to bless.

That's not a touchy feely Q. It's what I am. How do I feel about being female, aging, having brown hair, or hazel eyes? This is my country. I don't agree with everything done in my name as an American, but I can disagree in a public forum. I can vote and I can dissent. I don't run things but I can influence others and together we have a voice. When my country is under attack, so am I and I will defend myself and my neighbors. Being an American is not a done deal. It's a work in the making, over and over again. Simply, it's work that calls on us all and I'm glad to have the opportunity to be a part of it, even when I don't get my way all the time( or even some of the time). I have little sympathy with the opinions of those who don't participate but complain and demand. An American is what I am.

Timely question. Given the historical position every human knows he occupies in mans' history, I doubt anybody is thinking along national lines. I concur with former President Carters' comment upon his visit to Korea some years ago:
" I am ashamed of my countrys' policy. "
At this remove I don't really see myself as ' American ' though I was born and raised here. If moral conscience and spiritual perception of the events now overtaking the world at large are considered unAmerican, it is a light consideration at best.
This, applicable throughout the world. I do foresee a future homeland fast approaching that the rest of the world also perceives free of death and evil. These ought really to be our concerns in our own private moments.

i am dismayed because america was once a country that prayed to GOD.look at your folding money.IN GOD WE TRUST. who do you trust?i trust GOD.seems since vietnam people have forgotten how to pray and ask for forgiveness for their sins.our country is in trouble and all we have to do is to ask GOD for help but we have to stop all this sin and i feel that america will achieve what is at hand.world war one and two were won because of our forefathers faith in GOD but we actually tied in vietnam. i served in the army during that time and i was saddened by the people who called us very terrible names.without GOD we are nothing but with HIM we are something.too many people dont beieve in our heavenly FATHER but i do. i wouldnt be here today if i didnt have faith trust and love for HIM.i pray that all americans will start to pray again and for the right reasons.HE is our only hope.
