Less muscle control and the intestines and gastrointestinal tract is not the same as when we are younger. They don't handle the foods the same. They don't digest the foods the same way.

Perhaps they have been around for so long, they just say 'screw it' and stop trying to hold them back or release them silently.
Or the muscles to hold them back have degenerated and no longer can hold them back.
Or maybe they just want to try and gas the whole youth around them for making fun of them.
