My husbands career gives us the oppurtunity to move alot (we have 2 small children) we usually decide if we will take the move within 1 or 2 min. the few times we have not trusted our instincts and really thought it out we were very unhappy w/ our decion. We trust our first insintct and it has never done us wrong. My husband bought us a new home 2 weeks ago when I was away at my moms on a whim. I was a bit mad, but it was a great deal in a better neighboorhood w/ better schools. We put our home on the market (in a bad market here in michigan) & lucky us recived 2 offers the 2 nd day(open house) we sold foe 20,000 over asking. We always trust our instincts, it just always works for us.

Its in my character to do so, I dont really have a secret I do it on skill and impatience, I cant stand people who want to over analyze every little thing when I need an answer, its not really a secret just make a decision, if you choose the wrong one its ok.

Make the decision in less than 3 seconds, then say it out loud to the wall. Then execute this quick and sound decision as planned. It may not be a good decision, but no death in the analyzation and it is done quick with remarkable decibel counts. Hmmmmm

Having a sufficiently large amount of information and experience helps. And if not, then the ability to acquire that info.
Also, not being inclined to freeze in dire situations helps.

In not immediate emergencies, I weigh the pros and cons, and if they are so close I can't easily decide I do something else not connected with the decision, I sleep on it and within days, sometimes hours, I get the answer all of a sudden, and know it is right.

Spontaneity. You have to be confident with any decision you make. Always go with your gut. If you second guess and choose wrong, 99% of the time your first guess was the right choice
What is your favorite color? Blue? Black? Don't think too much. Take it right from the top of your head.

i try to let my brain analyze the situation to the max within a short time...like with children...one night my son stopped breathing when he was 10 months old...alot of parents would freak out, start screaming and so on...as soon as i noticed he went limp and waas blue...i lied him on the floor on his back, trying to get him to breathe and calling 911 at the same time...its amazing what a mother can do and decide when their childs life is in danger

I trust my guts. And I always think "What's the worst that can happen?" Most everything you choose in life can be reversed or changed again, so if you make a descision, and it turns out badly for you, just make a left turn and head in another direction.
