I'm working on a project on Word document. I need the writting to print out side ways, not the typical "across" layout. How can I do this?

Click on FILE.
Click on PAGE SETUP.
In the window that pops up, click on the PAPER SIZE tab.
Click on LANDSCAPE under "orientation".
OK out of the window.
That should do it.

Set it to print landscape. Open up MS Word. Click on File and then Print. Click on the Basics tab. Under the Orientation category, you will see two radio buttons; select the one that says Landscape. Click OK and click OK again.

If it is Microsoft Word then just go to Word Art ( it is the big A at the bottom of the screen) and on the side there will be some going sideways.

in windows xp do that in the printer setup wizard. press ctrl+p to open it. click on the advanced button > finishing tab > click the landscape radio button

you'll have to set it back to portrait when you are finished printing. this way all your other stuff will print normally.
