But they didn't run on the race card
when it was Condi or Powell going
up for nomination?

Isn't this being a TRUE GOP HYPOCRITE???

The Republican National Committee financed and approved the ad, not the TN GOP. Ken Mehlman, the head of the RNC, who incidentally has some sexual proclivity problems of his own, personally gave the ok.

Why are they running on the race card? They are desparate and want to appeal to the most vile instincts of Tennessee voters. The GOP is great at bringing out the worst in people.

Neither Condi nor Powell ran for anything, they were appointed. They weren't nominated.

Ask Michael Steele.....
In 2002, Steny Hoyer - the number two ranked Democrat in the House - called me a "token" during the Maryland governor's race.

A senior Cardin staffer used an Internet blog to hurl racist remarks at me and anti-semitic comments towards others - actions for which Ben Cardin has still not apologized.

Maryland State Senate President Thomas Miller called me an "Uncle Tom."

The Baltimore Sun - a longtime ally of leading Democrats in Maryland - said that I bring nothing more to gubernatorial ticket than "the color of [my] skin."

Talk about hypocritical .... Dems' need to slow down on their racist comments... Is this being the TRUE DEMOCRAT HYPOCRITE???

Race card? That is a clever response by the Democrats, but most free thinking people don't see the racial overtones. If they do, they are looking way to hard for something that is not there. If they had used a black lady, we would have heard about how that was racial too.

The race card is their stock and trade. They always appeal to the most base human emotions.

I'm a dem and I've seen plenty of hypocrisy to go around in both parties.

The ad, while in poor taste, wasn't racist. It's the liberal media - who want a Democratic-controlled congress - who are trying to convince us that the ad was racially motivated. So what if Ford attended a Playboy party? And so what if he's black and the bunny is white? It's the liberals who dreamed this up....

Now who's a hypocrite?

So, supposedly a white woman who's asking to meet with a black man at a party isn't cool? Is that what you're implying? I would have thought that a true liberal would have no problem with that.

Desperation!

But they really don't need to do this because they will maintain control of at least one of the houses and the Presidency.

They dont need the dirty tactics and cooked up scandals.
