Okay..so today i found a cellphone after school. I was with jane and sara. So, they're like my best friends, so i was like " oh i found a cell phone!!" And then Sara came and tried to grab it but i held on but then she like shoved it out of my hands. Then they were prank calling and putting random numbers on the phone, which made me uncomfortable. I really wanted to return it but she wouldnt give it back! So now sara has it and she wont give it back until theres a reward,,,she said she would beat me up if i told my mom, but i told my mom anyway because sara doesnt scare me. And now i feel stupid because if i had just kept it to myself this wouldnt have happened..and nowi dont feel like i can trust them. What should I do???

I still want my friends!!! But I feel stupid for trusting them...

First, don't feel stupid for trusting your friends... You thought they were your friends... Why shouldn't you trust them?
Second- What a couple of jerks... Using someones cell phone to prank other people is just lame, and using up someones minutes which equals $$$. I think you should branch out and find some new girls to be friends with. Keep Sara and Jane around, but don't trust them as far as you can throw them

Have you ever heard of "finders keepers losers weepers"?Because that's essentially what happened you thought you were trying to do the right thing but it made your Friends mad.It sounds like you were being a goodie two shoes about the whole thing. If they are your Friends then you shouldn't have ratted them out, because what reason did you have to tattle on them? Essentially you didnt have a good reason if they are your freinds just appoligize for narcing on them and all should be forgiven unless they feel you croosed a very serious line with them you should be ok just chalk it up to a lesson learned.

Why would you still want your friends if she threatened to beat you up over a cell phone that is not hers? She is not your friend. In the first place, she should have given it back to you because you found it and secondly, she should not have threatened you. You don't need friends like that. I am proud of you for telling your mom because if you let her feel that her threat scared you, she would continue to do so and gradually want to follow through on her threats.

I know you still want your friends, but these are not real friends. Real friends do not push & shove you, they do not threaten to kick your ***. Plus, these girls do not sound very mature if they are prank calling people. Do the right thing. Tell you mom & get it taken care of. You may have to start looking for some new friends & you may be lonely for awhile, but in the long run, it will be better for your health & for your self-esteem.

I am glade you told your Mom. You should not feel stupid. they are the ones who is doing wrong, I know if they lost their phone, they would want someone to turn it in. And I think that is what you was going to do. And this is how you need to explain it to Sara.

Don't trust them! A true friend would support your decision to not do that to someone's phone that you found. They should respect you for wanting to be a good person and try to return the phone. They are not worth it - I know it's hard to see that, when they are saying nasty things to you, but be strong. Be proud of yourself that you are a good, honest individual.

Sorry - they don't sound like very good friends to me.

I can't ever remember my best mates threatening to beat me up and, if you can't trust them, how can they possibly be your friends.

Your best friend/s should be someone you can trust with any secret, who looks after you (and you look after them) like you are sisters, and always stick up for each other.

Ditch the b*tches and find some real friends.

I think that it is funny, but you should have returned it directly to the lost & found. Stay friends, don't lose them. But also tell the lost and found that you found it and say that sara has it.

Will just talk to sara and ask her why she took the cell phone and wasn't even her's to begin w/ or just ask her nicely to give it back to you and return it. See she cant do anything to you unless you alow her to.

dump your friends because honestly they are not your friends real friends respect each other and would want to help them out in a time of need not pick on them or threaten them they obviously don't respect you and you obviously can't trust them why would you want to be friends with people like that
