My messenger archive is deleted!?

I have deleted my message archive by mistake in yahoo messenger! Is there any possibilty to have my archive back!!!??? Please Help!

Hi,

If you manage to get your .dat files back then try using the following to decode the files to see if they are valid.. You could ask the person you were chatting with if they have the archive of your conversation. you can then use the program below to view their .dat files of the conversation just as if it were yours.

You can try this:

My Computer --> C --> Program Files --> Yahoo -->Messenger --> Profiles --> Yourid (double click on the folder which is named with your yahoo id) --> Archive

You will see your message as well as conference archives here.

(Please note that this is only possible if you have enabled messenger archive option when u use yahoo messenger on that particular computer. )
