The basic unit of mass is the kilogram.
The basic unit of volume is cm^3
Therefore you should look for an answer that has the units of kilogram /cm^3.

A has cm^2/gram (this can't be it}
B has gram/cm^2 (this can't be it)
C has gram/cm^5 (this can't be it)
D has cm^3/gram (this can't be it)

Therefore none of the listed answers is correct.

D would be correct if we were looking for 1/density, that is the reciprocal of density. Suggest that you look at problem again and make sure you have copied tha possible answers correctly. If you have , then the answer is none of the above.

Density is defined as mass per unit volume. Therefore, the SI unit of density should be g/cm^3. None of the above is the answer to your question. C could be the answer if cm is "to the power of 3" instead of "to the power of 5". B could be the answer if cm is cubed instead of squared.
Hope it helps. GOOD LUCK!!!

g is a unit of mass.
cm^3 is a unit of volume.
Therefore g/cm^3 would be density, but that isn't one of the choices. B is closest, since it's mass over area. D is density flipped over.

i am pretty sure the answer is C because if density is the measure of an object mass divided by volume, mass is grams, and volume is in centimeters, anything higher than squared... if something is squared it is area...not volume. volume is anything cubed or higher...which is the third power or higher.

none. it should be 19.3 g/cm^3 because volume is always to the third power. the closet, I guess would be either b or d, but they are both wrong.

none of them. it would be 19.3 g/cm^3 .
