you can go ahead and test now, it will be able to determain. However, some women dont have enough pregnancy hormone in their bodies. Wait till the morning and use your first morning pee. If it comes up neg. and you still dont get your period wait 7 days and try again or you can just call your doc. and make an appointment to have a blood test done. That will be able to tell you for sure by now.

Yes, the answer would be accurate if you took it now. For greatest chance of accuracy:
1) Use FIRST RESPONSE brand pregnancy tests, which are the most sensitive on the market.
2) Use first-morning urine for the test
3) don't drink any liquids several hours before bed the night before you test (to avoid diluting your urine)
4) follow the instructions, particularly about timing. for instance, it says to read the test stick after 10 minutes, for instance, then don't go and read the test 2 hours later and go by those results.
good luck!!!!!

Yep. Usually, the test are accurate after being late 5 days. They have some that you can test the first day you are late, but to be on the safe side, I would test again after a few days if you haven't started.

That depends on when you ovulate...
The long and short is.... if it's negative now, wait a week (it'll be the longest week in your entire life)
if 'ole Aunt Flo hasn't shown her face then, test again.
To be on the safe side, use protection in the meantime if you do not want to be pregnant.
I recomend the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler (sp? on the last name) if you are TRYING to get pregnant, or if you want an alternative to hormonal birthcontrol because you are TRYING NOT to get pregnant.

Sexual activity and your stress levels can delay your period. Every female is different, but understand the possiblity.
Do not panic, take the test...two or three times. Do you want to be pregnant or not....that is really your question.
I hope you will be happy with either result. Blessings Be!

it just depends on when you got pregnant. that is about the same time that i got pregnant last year. next week will be a year from when i took the pregnancy test. i was three weeks when i found out. it would probably show up if you took it today. if it comes up neg. then take another one next week.

Yes, you can test now, better to do it with the first morning urine tough....get a pg test like clearblue or first reponse. I have always used clearblue in this cases and it has never failed me.
