In the USA there are a few programs that offer a 7 or 8 year combined undergraduate and medical school admission.

These programs are fiercely competitive for admission. If you are not one of the very best students in your region (never mind school) then forget it.

At Brown University, one of the Ivy League schools, only about 1 in 5 students who apply are going to be in the freshman class. And out of those students who get in, only about one in ten will get accepted for the combined program.

So, polish off your 800 SAT scores, your 4.0 unweighted average and the medals you won at the state science fair the last four years, and go for it!

I've heard that some med schools offer a "junior honors" program - I think you complete sophomore year of college wherever you want, then you take 1 year of pre-med courses at the med school as part of the honors program, & then 4 years of med school. Not many schools offer this option. Perhaps the best way is to go on AAMC website & search for med schools that do. Contacting the med school directly for information would be better than anything else!
