my neice has been talking to strangers on msn im. we changed her passwords and started monitoring her im's to see what is up. we found out that a guy from massachusettes has been showing himself to her. she is 14. we reported this to the police,but they are not doing anything about it. what is a aunt to do?????

With you by her side, have her try to arrange a meeting. Print out copies of all the IM's. Then show up to meet the guy with the police and IM's in hand. Leave your neice at home.
Whatever you do- start a hard copy paper trail now- print every communication he makes.

deff go to FBI and to police again. take evidence on disk. Try to find his IP address (I don't know how on MSN but you should try) because the IP address will show you if he really is from Mass or if he's in another state. Do make a big stink about this. if the police don't do anything go to the media.

report him to the fbi or demand that the police do something about it in the meantime if you can try to block him from contacting her then do that but have the im messages printed out as proof that this guy is doing what he's doing

Report the dude to the FBI. He is sexually molesting her, from what I hear. Or make a huge commotion about it at the police station. That always works.
