I would first invite you to move to the eastern side of the city of Houston. Just be careful if driving...there are some areas where the streets are overcrowded with day laborers looking for work. Then travel over to the Family Medical Clinic where my father works and pick up the tab on the 92% illegal immigrants he provides medical care for everyday. Or you could tell the mothers that have lost children in all the new migrant gangs we have here now.
I don't think the wall is the right answer. But in my opinion, our do nothing government is finally doing something to address a grave problem. At the moment, I have no other ideals to stop over 500,000 illegal immigrants from coming over. Is there any other country in the world that allows this?

Wow.. Well the most important thing you can do is Get out and vote.. Because I gather the President and Congress do speak for most of the Americans. A big number of people back them up and elected them.. You do not like the results get up and vote.. Unless you are with that big number of people who can't do it, but were able to vote for Calderon.... (That is something completely different)..
Go ahead and write your letter..

Let our Leaders know you are not in the same page as them, Your little rock cast in this huge ocean is not going to rise a wave in the Mexico shores.. Calderon has lots of issues and citizens to deal with what makes you think he has time for one voice across in the distance....
They don't even have an email account you can Google!!!
Good Luck in your Quest!!

You sound like you are uneducated on the problems with illegal immigration. Why dont you learn a little about how this is effecting our economy. It has nothing to do with the United States valuing our neighbors. It has to due with somewhere between 15 and 20 billion dollars a year illegally going into Mexico's economy instead of into the U.S. economy. It has to do with our health care, schools, roads etc, being used illegally. Now get off the computer you big dope.

I happen to disagree with your views, but if you wish to communicate your thoughts to Calderon, you may try contacting the closest Mexican consulate if you wish to communicate to the government directly. Or, alternatively, you can support U.S. politicians who "value our neighbors" - if you're a Republican, John McCain comes to mind.
