This is the way it should be, and is far from the second time the country has been so bitterly divided.
The point to politics is to solve problems without killing people. When the stakes are as high as they are, you can expect people to get emotional about it. The only other way is to establish a dictator and do what he says.

And what would you prefer, unwavering support for money hungry nimrods (not all of them) that put their own parties before their people, the people that elected them? People before parties, that's my idea. If you don't like it, move to N. Korea.
