Could the story of his self cure from alcoholism have been invented, to give him the appearance of having a strong character?

Since I dont believe in alcoholism im sure he still drinks and just used to make his saved by Christ claim stronger.

Once an alcoholic always an alcoholic. And YES he is they have made that common knowledge along with his addiction to drugs and the fact he went AWOL from the Military, beats me with all that baggage he got where he is now.................... I blame the people and the system, that election was rigged.

You mean the dry drunk ex-blow monkey sock puppet of the the cheney regime's neo-con death cult? He stopped drinking there is nothing meaner than a spoilded frat boy who is a dry drunk. Of course I'm pretty sure he's drinking again.

I think he exhibits an alcoholic's behavior, which is not to say he is drinking. But that he has an impulsive, addictive type personality and can do no wrong in his own opinion.
