Munaf was injured and was not on the field ...

Sachin has not been bowling in ODIs recently ...

Agarkar is supposed to be a full-time bowler who has been playing ODIs for quite a few years ...

Our captain (why do you call him a jargon?) was party to the decision of playing with 4 pacers and 1 spinner ...

I think you were not following the game as it progressed.
Munaf had a sprain in the left wrist and was out of the ground. He would not have been allowed to bowl. And Sachin had not bowled even a single over during the match. It is ridiculous to think of bowling Sachin at the final over stage.
Agarkar was the right choice.

Munaf was injured and as such could not complete his full quota of 10 overs. He could bowl only 8 overs. Though Sachin could have been entrusted the last over, since the ball was getting wet due to due factor,, may be he was not given the choice. Since all other bowlers were also expensive, the experienced bowler was given the last over.

This question was running in my mind too. But he (Rahul Dravid) later on explained in the presentation ceremony that Munaf Patel got himself injured and had to leave the field. I agree that he should even have bowled some overs with Sachin Tendulkar, especially in the middle overs. But "not" the last over. He didn´t bowl in the international level since about 7 to 8 months. And if he had given him the last over, and had India lost the match even then, people would have criticized him. But Aggarkar was bit expensive in the last overs. But he started the last over beautifully with a perfect yorker. He shouldn´t have bowled the last ball on the off-stump channel, that too a such a short delivery. At the death one should only bowl in the bloke-holes, or at yorker lenght. And Aggarkar chose to bowl at such wayward lenght.................... That delivery surprised me a lot. But, India fought back very well. India was never in the game, according to the commentators. But I knew that West Indies can collapse. And which is what they did. Scoring on such a pitch was never going to be easy. But, be positive, hope that India will win the next game and will qualify for the Semi-Final.

Rawal.

Any way after losing the match everyone will say another way if Tendulkar had given the wining runs u should have asked y Tendulkar in spite of having experienced bowler like Agarkar. That is y everyone say Capping India is most difficult.

Munaf Patel was off the field with some problems so that's why he didn't bowl the last over. And you are Sachin has done well bowling last overs of the match and he should have been given a bowl.
