Jamaica has areas for such entertainment,but not as developed as how they are in the USA,or some other major Caribbean islands,however Corral Cliff in Montego bay and a few other places in negril and other areas.
If the answer that Jim gave, was true Jamaica Would be out of business in terms of the tourist industry trust me i know this,i am Jamaican and work in the tourist industry for three years,and for such people to to be talking garbage,it is ridiculous to listen to,it gives me a sense that they are no better than the make belief story they bring,some of the things are true,but that one,is definitely a story in the making. it hurts!

Yes thgere is gambling, poker tables in Jamaica.
There are very good casinos in Montego Bay on the hipstrip, and in Ocho Rios in the Main Town, some hotels also have their own game rooms.
I THINK JIM SHOULD SHUT UP. CRIME IS EVERYWHERE, EVER HEARD OF FLATBUSH OR HARLEM IN NEW YORK? ALSO NOT SURE I BELIEVE THAT STUFF. POLICE IN JAMAICA DO NOT WEAR CAMAFLAUGE & ROBBERS IMITATING POLICE HAS BEEN DONE EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD. JIM YOU NEED TO WATCH AMERICA'S MOST WANTED.
If you are planning to vacation in Jamaica do your research and try not to go into the violence prone areas(same as if u were going anywhere else in the world), stick to your travel agents advice and don;t put yourseldf in any undue danger.

All the major hotels in Puerto Rico have casinos. The Caribe Hilton, The Condado Plaza, El San Juan Hotel, The Ritz-Carlton, among others. I haven't noticed if they have Poker tables though. Give one of these hotels I've mentioned a call, and find out. Best of Luck!

The answer from Jim is just garbage. however, gambling is done in Jamaica and they do have poker tables. I could recommend the one in Montego Bay across from Margaritta Ville. and there is also one in Ocho Rios, St. Ann.

The resort we stayed at in Jamaica did have gambling. There were no tables there but slot machines and poker machines were available.

Most of the allinclusive resorts have slots and poker machines on site. There is gambling in montego bay and St. Anns
