I have a router that enables me to use my laptop anywhere in my home, but I have not been able to set it up (router, printer, or laptop) so that I can print from my laptop. Any help would be much appreciated!

Is your printer a network printer? If so, start the Add Printer Wizard. Select a local printer! (This sounds wrong, but it isn't.) When prompted for the port, click New. Select Standard TCP/IP Port from the drop down list. Type in the IP address of the printer and click Next. It will take a few seconds but it should find the printer. Continue with the wizard, either selecting a printer from the list or clicking on the Have Disk button.

If your printer is not a network printer, you'll either have to purchase a print server to hook it to the network or connect it directly to your machine.
