Are you going to be more precausious in inspecting the childrens candy due to all the recent craziness going on lately?

No, is there some abnormal craziness I'm not aware of?

I myself am giving out those cool glow-sticks from the dollar store. Can't go wrong with those. Well, unless some weird kid bites it in half and ends up glowing all night. Should be non-toxic glow stuff though.

Since I'm too old to trick or treat no. But I do kinda wish my Grandparents were gonna be gone that day so I could give out candy at there place in town. I've never done that before and thought it would be fun. No one ever does that in the country.

What craziness are you talking about? I hadn't heard anything of sort. It's been perfectly safe to trick or treat for decades if not longer.

Statistically speaking, if a child is going to be poisoned or injured otherwise on Halloween, it will happen in their own home, not by an imaginary psycho stranger passing out candy.

Yeah thats why I wont let my kids go do to door. I take them to there school. Where they trick or treat class room to class room. I feel its much better because the school buys all the candy.

Yeah I'm always worried about that. Thats why we stick to only our neighborhood when I take the kids trick or treating.

Only take your kids to homes you're familiar with, or to a mall or somplace with sponsored activities - too many sickos out there who would hurt an innocent child.

Nope. More worried about the Satanist who like to kidnap kids for sacrifices on the holy black mass.
