Why would you do that?

I have also seen this, it just reinforces the common thought that the average UK teen, is a disgusting filthy pig, and should be flogged. I have a hard time thinking an adult or contributing member of society would be so disrespectful to his/her community. They do it because their parents haven't taught them how to act in public, you see that all the time, even when their parents are with them. This country needs a massive purge of the filth that invades our daily lives. If we rid ourselves of the putrid masses of whelps and their oxygen theiving parents, we wouldn't be complaining about immigration and overcrowding so much.

Probably some local yob trying to win a bit of respect in front of his mates or more likely someone who has just been refused cash or had the card eaten by the machine. Hey, there are so many occasions when you can ask the question "Why would you do that?" Life's like that.

my guess is that it was a poor person who spat at it, maybe acting on some jealous subconcious urge to inconvenience all the successful wealthy people using the machine. or on a simpler level, maybe he/she was just a bored idiot.
