They can't fire you for being in school, but they can fire you for not being at work or not getting your job done. It's not their problem what you do with your time, only that you perform the duties they ask of you. Have oyu tried talking to your supervisor about the conflict to see if you can work something out? It's probably better to deal with it now before it becomes a huge problem.

Well, most places they can fire you for any reason or no reason. And while it would be unlikely they'd fire you for going to school, it would be very likely they'd fire you for not being available to work your normal hours.
If your job is such that it would not cause inconvenience to the employer to have you work different hours, talk to them - they might work with you on rescheduling.

Yes, they can fire you for no reason at all, let alone a real reason. Unless you've signed some sort of contract, most employers in the US now hire "at will." "At will" means that they can fire you for absolutely no reason at all.

Yes! Most jobs will work around someone's school schedule but are not required to do so.. I would talk to your boss and explain the situation.. maybe he/she can work around it for you
