I have a drywall attached to a wood panel, They both measure 2"in width. what sort of toggels should I use to install an L shape wall support?

Hey Lana:

It's kind of hard to visualize what your situation is, but toggles are appropriate when you need to fasten something to a surface that is hollow inside, but too soft to hold a screw or nail. You have to choose a toggle that has a long enough screw to allow the "wings" to get through the wall far enough to pop open, then apply back pressure enough to hold them in place while you turn the screw (so it doesn't spin). Just make sure the wings spread out when pushed in. You can sometimes hear them. Have some extra toggles just in case you lose them inside the wall.

If you had just drywall I'd highly recommend Helical inserts instead of moly's. There like a white plastic, thick very coarse thread screw, with a little metal screw that threads into the middle (which holds your stuff). One brand name is Rawls.
