Why not? Shouldnt I be able to "print" a document by "photocopying" an empty paper by placing it in front of a computer screen?

I know it isnt possible to take a picture through a computer screen! But what I am asking is WHY NOT? Isnt a photocopier able to color copy a document and a printer able to print a document in color and we have printer-scanner-fax-copier all in one devices? So why not photocopy a document in color from paper to computer screen and beam it to another computer screen just by knowing its IP address (something like INTERNET but works through satellite over the air without needing physical cable connections)

Your question is kind of confusing to me, but the spam email you received cannot take your picture from the computer screen. Unless your computer has a build in webcam or camera (some computers do now) they definitely cannot take your picture. Computer screens are made to show you images, and not take pictures of new images.

Also, even if you have webcam, they don't have access to it unless you downloaded/installed some software that they provided. I think by law, companies that send out spam aren't allowed to actually hack into your computer and alter your programs so that they can turn on your webcam and take pictures of you.

I think the spam email was like all other typical spam emails: It claims something and means nothing. Just make sure you don't click on any links they give you or download anything from them. There are tons of spam messages out there that claim you've won a prize or that your computer has harmful files on it, just so that you'll click on their ads. Just ignore those messages and make sure you have some good anti-spyware software. :)

Because standard printing paper has no mechanisim for acquiring print by itself. All standard paper printers, laser, and ink-jet, print by depositing toner or ink in specific patterns on the paper.

Your display, obviously, doesn't put out ink or toner, otherwise you'd get an image of your screen printed on your face.

Cannot happen. They mean with a "web cam" set-up.
