THEY WONT DO IT MATE YOUR BEST BET IS TO PHONE DYNO-ROD WHO I WORK FOR IN PORTSMOUTH DIFFERENT AREA THOUGH AND ASK FOR A CCTV SURVEY OF YOUR DRAINS AS YOU ARE MOVING HOME AND IF YOU TELL THEM THAT YOU WILL LET THEM DO THE REPAIR WORK IF THERE ARE ANY PROBLEMS THEN THE SURVEY COST YOU WILL PROBABLY BE LOOKING AT ABOUT £100/120 THAT'S CHEAP TO NOT FREE I KNOW BUT NO ONE WILL DO IT FOR FREE I'M AFRAID!

Depends on what part of the drainage. If its whithin your boundary and you own the house there is no way anyone will do it for free. If its further on down the pipe where it meets other properties you may get your water company to do it (depends as there are rules and regualtions relating to what age the properties are and who is responsible). If its a council property then the council can arrange it. If its a problem where several properties keep getting blocked drains you can call envirinmental health who can arrange for it to be done and they may divide the cost and bill each household seperately. I only know this through continued problems at my on property. Good luck x
