Actually raising the flag of another sovereign country should be at the same level as the American flag. Are you saying that the Canadian flag should not be flown at a Baseball game between say the Yankees and the Blue Jays? Should foreign flags not be flown in ports or International trade centers? I've heard that Americans are ethnocentric but this question is beyond belief.

no, because we do this as a matter of respect for the visiting nation. For instance, if the British prime minister is visiting the capitol, a British flag is flown lower than the American flag. At Fermilabs, a publicly funded research facility with scientists from all over the world, many nation's flags are flown, although all are lower than old glory. This would be a stupid law that would anger other, friendly nations for no good reason.

The U.S. flag should be at the highest position on a flag pole. After that, it's perfectly acceptable to have another's flag. What you are expressing is your own personal opinion, and that makes you an a--hole.

I would hope not, it defies freedom of speech. And if so is passed, shouldn't the enemy flag, Stars and Bars, be seen as illegal along with it?
