I'm trying to find the best feeling, most comfortable pantyhose (that are readily-ish available in the US). Cheap ones are too scratchy. I don't like how binding control-top is. Some really sheer ones are too easy to run. I used to really really like the Hanes Irresistable Collection, but they stopped making them. If it's worth it, spending a few extra dollars is ok. But this is for everyday wear, so Wolford pantyhose are too expensive. I'm just looking for something I might be able to find at a department store. So I'd love to hear your two cents. What do you like and why?

Victoria's Secret makes the best panty hose, in my opinion. They are very silky and they have lots of options, as far as thigh high, control top, etc. They're reasonably priced, too, for the quality.

Pantyhose and tights serve there purpose in different ways. if you wish for a darker look or another color other then the shades pantyhose come in you will need to wear tights. to me they are both very comfortable and i do wear either. tights do offer a bit more warmth on colder days especially under pants

The answer to that question is unique to each person, depending on their body type and personal preferences.
The Hanes Alive brand offer a lot of (leg) support and do not run easily.
If you don't mind wearing hose designed for men, pretty much all the comfilon styles are very good. Their style 569 is very resistant to runs, and offers a nice level of support for the legs. http://www.comfilon.com

Well, I know you say you liked Hanes Irresistable Collection,,,,,,but I know they have Hanes pantyhose that are durable and comfortable as far as pantyhose go........try JC Penney where I always bought mine....I choose not to wear any pantyhose anymore....but if I have to it's always Hanes.....silky collection.......don't know exact name though.....

You can get Givenchy and Calvin Klines at Ross for pretty cheap. They feel and look great!
