My earliest memory is riding my bike with no training wheels (7 yrs old), as my dad was behind and pushing me along, and then I realized a few seconds later he was no longer behind me. I felt free, which is psychologically why I may have a longing for freedom and independence. What about you?

My earliest memory is of sitting in the grass in the sunlight with a sand bucket. I had on a light colored dress that the sunlight shone through a little and remember being fascinated by that. I remember brick buildings around me with white trim.
When I asked my parents about where that was, years ago, they told me that was wear I lived when I was 18 months old. They couldn't believe I remembered that. But I also remember being 3 years old and my mom showing me where I was to go to preschool the next year and I remember being nervous about being away from my mom.
People tell me its very unusual to remember so far back.
I'm not sure why I do!
I also remember judging my own growth by how far my feet were away from the floor of the car, and being thrilled when every once in a while, my feet would be a little closer to the car mats!

I'm 32. When I was 3, I went as Casper for Halloween. I remember ripping the cr*tch while jumping and playing in the back seat of my mom's Cadillac on the way to Grandma's. I was so disappointed.

I remember waking up early one morning and going into the living room. I was probably 2-4 years old. My Dad was leaving for work and everyone else was asleep. I must have gotten scared and thought I was being left alone because I was watching out the living room window as he drove away (he did not see me) and I just started bawling. Eventually one of my sisters heard me and came in and comforted me. (My mom had left us when I was 3 weeks old).

The earliest reminiscence I have is being away on holiday throughout the time of iciness once elderly 3, playing contained in the snow for the first time ever :D i in my opinion keep in mind particularly a lot about it - being large chuffed lol, being pulled round on a sleigh by technique of my older cousin, by chance dropping absolutely one of my mittens contained in the snow, it became an quite chilly day and so on. I keep in mind what i became wearing and appeared like too - yet i imagine it really is in basic terms because I have diverse photos from that day. i imagine remebering the first time you said snow is a quite effective reminiscence to have. wondering about it I certainly can't keep in mind something till now the age of two, i imagine it really is quite cool that you'll. I keep in mind random information, like i visit keep in mind very nearly my finished dresser and all the garments I wore from a lengthy time period 5-10 yet often times i check out old pictures and they don't set off ideas in any respect.

Probably 3. My baby sister was born when I was 2½, and I remember her crying.

Usually people only remember something painful and can't relate to what they remember any earlier than about 2 or 3.

That's why I always found it odd that the writer Ray Bradbury says he remembers his own birth.

i was about 3 or 4. i was playing on the porch of our house in alabama and i was kicking a bush somehow. apparently i pissed off a nest of wasps. i got bitten a whole lot! but i dont remember how much it hurt or if it hurt at all. i just remember that it freaked me out cuz they were all over me. and i remember some man putting the nest in a plastic cup and pouring gas on it. he said it would make the wasps go away.

sitting in a chair, kicking my feet which only went to the end of the chair, thinking that i wished my legs were longer so i could bend my knees like everyone else. i think i was three.

i also sort of remember being pushed in a stroller and leaning my head against the side of it, with sun in my eyes, probably around age two before my brother was born.
