People don't understand emo or gothic i do.I use to be emo but i quit.They are humans, just because their not what u want them to be ,it doesn't mean u haveto hate them.All emo people do is cut theirselves and sometimes drink their blood.They dress like that cause they think its cool.U shouldn't be mean or hate them cause u not them.So why do people hate them?

I'm a really lucky guy, really blessed because I don't hate anyone in this world. If someone wants to be gothic, vampire or whatever, let them do it. They have the right to pursue happiness and I truly hope they do find it.
That being said, I also reserve the right to laugh and make jokes at their expense.

Good question but I see why people get freaked around them, because they feel uncomfortable with anything that different then them including other humans the thought of someone cutting themselves for pleasure wich they have their own personal reasons for doing so not that its healthybut it scares people and they try to stop it by putting them down. And being Gothic, so what who cares? Let them be dark, just like some people dress in pink all the time, its a color! Don't hate!
All this God **** no its not always about him dont use relijion as a reason.
Dont be scared of them just like any indiviual they all have their own personalities plus most of them that i have met a nice!

Well I don't hate emos or gothic people at all, a couple of my friends are gothics and emos and they are really cool people. People should be accepted for who they are. Some people are just ignorant and make assumptions about people without actually knowing them.

People don't hate them, they're just different. People don't like change or anything that is out of the ordinary. For one thing cutting themselves and drinking their own blood is a little different. Is there a reason behind this?
People are afraid to learn about different people, cultures, religions, races. This is something that is taught to them as young children. Hatred isn't something that babies are raised with. It's taught to them. Believe me I know, my parents were very prejudice and I didn't turn out that way. Ignorance is what it's called.

sometime people are just not use to emos, theres nothing wrong with emos, emos are different and people should not be so judgemental,don't judge a book by its cover because if your`re a goth or emo, don't care what people think be yourself and no else, my style is punky/gothic but GUESS WHAT YOU LOSERS WHO ARE SO JUDGEMENTAL I DNT CARE, you shouldn't either because cant go through life caring what other people think, because at the end of the days its your body,ur style don't take no crap for them losers.

Goth and emo people are normal people... they are not mental or anything. I'm 13 and I'm a hard out goth. My parents forced me to go to a christian school but I made friends pretty quickly. We are hated because we are different. People don't understand us so they shun us instead of trying to understand. They don't like people who aren't normal and their definition of 'cool' is different to ours.

People hate them because they're different. Simple as that. People don't like people that aren't like themselves, hence the different groups of people (jocks, cheerleaders, goths, math geeks, etc).

People are always wierd about things they do not understand, and are fearful of things they do not know much about. So what if people dress differently speak differently, we are all individuals and we should embrace that side of everyone.

You are right. They are humans the same as me and you. The only difference is that they need the Lord in their lives to direct them instead of looking to false, temporary ways to find comfort and relief. I don`t hate them, and I am not mean to them either.
