Hi. All portions of the world that adjust time seasonally do so to move mid-day (noon) so as to utilize more of the morning sunlight. Nobody 'loses' or 'gains' anything except more daylight.

When daylight savings starts, u wind the clock forward 1 hour. When it ends u wind it back 1 hour..

People in VIC, ACT, NSW, SA Wind it FORWARD 1 hour on 29/10/2006. If you dont live in any of these places u leave ur time how it is (except in TAS u wind it forward on 1/10/2006)

On 25/3/2007 u wind the clock BACK 1 hour

And the time actually changes at 3.00 am. So on saturday night, wind ur clock forward 1 hour before you go to bed.
