The same reasons, we have to change the oil in the car, check the air in the tires, do yardwork and so on. We still put the dip in the stick if you know what I mean. :-)

My momma always told me, if you can't handle the heat get out of the fire.....

Really? If a marriage or relationship is working, normally it is a partnership. Picking up clothes and washing them, cooking meals and cleaning up, sharing duties marketing all are a part of it. The blame game doesn't come into play in a solid relationship with open lines of communication. That way the men aren't on pause and there is time to enjoy simple pleasures around the house, while traveling and in the bedroom. Menopause actually can be a liberating time for women with the freedom to enjoy activities with no fear of becoming pregnant. Since it normally occurs after the children are grown and gone it allows for some risque spontaneity.
aleast thats what happened since the "change".

No i never have wondered because the word says it. Menopause means menstral cycle is pausing (really stopping) forever when you hit a certain age.
Stop picking up his clothes if he refuses to put them in the hamper. And stop washing his clothes and leave them on the floor. Seriously. Maybe it will bother you to see it but when he realizes he has no clean clothes and asks why not then you can explain that you are done picking up his clothes. If he cant get it into the hamper after you have told him time and time again, then you dont have to wash them because him leaving them on the floor doesn't let you know that the clothes are dirty.
Plus man men like to wake up and will put the same dirty clothes on to wear in the morning hours, before they take a shower.

Wow, somebody got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning! The proper term is "menarche". Menopause is a misnomer because there is no pause. The change is permanent; you don't pause for awhile and then go back to the way things were. If it makes you as crazy as your question sounds - and you sound homicidal - then see your physician. You might benefit from a new medication.
