when a women first starts to show with a small belly.. is she able to grab at it like a regular gut? or no, because the stomach is too hard and shaped? jus curiouse... also.. did ne 1 ever have prickley pinching feelings and bloating like a period but no cramps in early pregnancy?

When a pregnant woman starts to show, it's not fat; it's an expanded uterus (which is muscle) so the belly would be harder.

Bloating is common in early pregnancy. The prickly/pinching feelings are probably round ligament stretching. I always used to get a sharp pains whenever I sneezed or laughed too hard as well.

As others have said, the tummy would be hard (unless she started out with a little "extra around the waist").

I also had the prickly feeling, that's probably the skin stretching.
