That's a good reading to get. Don't worry about it. The others are saying its low, its not excessively low. Low is better than high!

hi, blood pressure reading depends on many factors, including the time of the day and the emotional state that your in while taking the blood pressure. for example if your worried or nervous your blood pressure tend to be to the high side. at your age the reading sounds normal. according to medical text books normal blood pressure is 120/80 for a healthy adult. the older you get this will change. if you suffer from high or low blood pressure you might want to consult your GP to get the blood pressure reading that is expected at your condition. otherwise it sounds perfectly normal.

Sorry Keefy don't really know the answer to this one because I'm not a trained professional. but as far as i can remember when my ma (mum) went to see her doctor about her blood pressure they gave her a blood pressure monitor for the week and she had to take her readings three times a day once in the morning (soon as she got up) once at lunch time and again in the evening. as blood pressure varies throughout the day. i think your overall pressure is calculated on an average rather than a one off reading.the only way to be sure tho is it c your doctor . hope this helps!!

Slightly low given your age, more normal is around 130/70. But its better to be on the low side than high.
