Wow, I watched this movie on cable the other day and got freaked out. It didn’t look like the survivors on the boat made it because one of the video shots showed that the gas tank was empty when they made it to the island… with zombies waiting for them.

I’m just curious… Do you think this is the way things would turn out if this actually happened? Or do you think we’re advanced enough that the world would have a better outcome?

When Z day happens the virus will spread so fast it will be like global ebola. You have no chance unless you can isolate yourself from other people. Plagues like this have happened many times in the past. One day some wacko is going to create the resident evil T-Virus and all hell will break loose. You sound paranoid and you should be. Watch Land of the Dead. Any zombie has the strength to pull off a person face. They are very hard to stop.

i think that if it actually happened, we (humanity) would be screwed. Although, Dead fans would have a better chance of identifying the situation much quicker, which would give them a better chance of survival , however, the zombie's sheer numbers I think would destroy the human race. I preferred the original Dawn of the Dead. Just a little trivia fact here. the music in the department store (also played durring the closing credits) in the original movie are also used in the closing credits of Robot Chicken (the bwak bwak bwak part)

I think thats about the way it would turn out, but the big zombie fanatics would have a good shot at survival. My friends and I use to sit around and plan out what we would do incase of a zombie attack with the local gun store and where to run to for shelter. Its fun to think of stuff up like that but it would never happen.

I love that movie, especially how they turne Disturbed's song "Down with the Sickness" into a swing song! I think someone would have had a way to kill the zombies, like an ancient Chinese or Eastern prophecy or something. That would have been cool to see!

I love horror movies, and this was a great remake.

I think that if there really were Zombies, those of us who have watched Zombie movies would have the best chance of survival.

This is a great flick. The ending is left intentionally ambiguous (did they survive or didn't they?) but I would think not, frankly. If this "actually happened" 98% of the world's population is a goner, I'm afraid.

How did the zombies get on the island is what i wondered. and how many were on it. i think the humans could have killed the zombies on the island and lived there you should see '28 days later' that's also a cool zombie movie, a little more realistic than dawn.

if it were to happen it would not be pretty !!!! in any case !! as zombie would multiply so rapidly it would most likely be impossible to out do the shear numbers !!!
